I have author pages here:
Since aged 11, I was certain of two things: one, I wanted to be a writer; and two, I was intensely interested in American history. I have since combined these two passions to create The Liberty & Property Legends series, a family saga which I like to describe as a grand and romantic adventure of The West and Gilded Age, and which will span six volumes.
My novels include the five current volumes in the series (in reading order):
HEARTLAND On the Side of Angels (2009)
EMPIRE FOR LIBERTY Dangerous Lullaby (2011)
FIRST COUNTRY Tinged with Rose (2013)
THE HOUR OF EVIDENCE Deceived (2015)
A PLACE AMONG HEROES, Book 1: Rise of Hope (2018)
A PLACE AMONG HEROES, Book 2: Return of Hope (2020)
Broad travels across the US have allowed me to research in the locations where the novels are set and to walk in the footsteps of my characters. In 2011, I became a member of Women Writing the West. I also hold membership with IBPA (Independent Book Publishers Association) and the Australian Society of Authors (ASA).
I'm also a musician, and the mother of three beautiful human beings. I live with my husband in Sydney, Australia, where I am always enthusiastically working on the next book in the series and other projects and musical pursuits. There's no doubt in my mind that being creative is a way of life and if that's the way you're wired there is no escaping it!

About Tank & Ferry Entertainment
Frank & Terri Sedmak - that's us! - created Tank & Ferry Entertainment in 2007 to produce my adventure-romance saga The Liberty & Property Legends. To date, we have created, produced and released Volumes One to Five in the six volume series, which are published in collaboration with Vivid Publishing (Fontaine Press). Latest release is Volume Five, A PLACE AMONG HEROES, Book 2: Return of Hope in October 2020.
Why 'entertainment' you ask? Well, creativity is a broad and inviting canvas. And you never know where that road may take you. As one acquaintance put it recently: 'you won't have to change your business card!'
In other endeavours, we created an imprint called Medicine Bow in 2012 under which we publish author Ava Pashley, whose first novel is called The Storyteller, a romance-mystery which has gained beautiful reader reviews on Goodreads. We worked with Wavecloud to produce a fabulous book trailer for the novel, the song for which, Come Back to Me, is a Tank & Ferry original.
We both firmly believe that perseverance is the key, the journey is equal to the destination, always try to keep a sense of humour, and when the going gets tough there is always coffee. In fact, while a child engrossed in a huge book is the company logo, it could very well be a cup with steam rising from the top; coffee is the staple diet of all who tread the boards at Tank & Ferry Entertainment.
Some Tank & Ferry wisdom ...
Have a vision, believe in it and in your ability to realise it.
Be an entrepreneur: be prepared to take risks and back them.
Multi-task, work hard, and be flexible.
Be patient. Some things happen overnight; most don't.
Accept that you will make mistakes and learn from them.
Don't dwell – when something doesn't go right, be philosophical and move on.
Love what you do, even when you're having a bad day. Life, as we know, is a tapestry!
Celebrate your successes.
And always be grateful that you get to do what you love.

Whatever the location of the chapter you might be reading within the saga, Tank and I visited and researched there; from San Francisco to Cape Cod. And we had some wonderful adventures and memorable times.
